Holidays can be full of sweets and junk food. Rest assure, my kids will get plenty of candy from school and other places – so we try to find some non-candy ideas for gifts and treats when we can. We like to surprise the girls with some treats on Valentine’s Day morning.
These treats vary depending on the age of your child, and most are great for year-round treats. Some of these items do include treats, but not specifically candy.

I really appreciate the time you took to put this together. I have a young lady I take care of and she can’t have candy. This will really help me pick something out for her. Thank you!
These are all such great ideas. I didn’t even consider a “sugar-free” Valentines Day but now I love the idea. Thanks for sharing.
Defiently better than all that sugar lol.
Fun ideas! I am not a big lover of sugar, so some of these are great! Could work for either a boy or girl 🙂
All wonderful ideas! One year I splurged a little and got the boys a craft box thing and that went over really well. I haven’t decided what I’m doing this year but I’m inspired by your list!
Great ideas! We’re always trying to find non-candy alternatives for any holiday. Thanks for the new ideas.
These are really good suggestions.Though I like candy the holidays really push that so these are great ideas.
I find it very sweet, and in fact romantic, the idea of celebrating Valentine’s Day with and for the children. It is, after all, the greatest form of love there is.
Fairy string lights are so magical, great idea! I also like the Legod recommendation because they really invite creativity.
That is such a nice Valentine’s day article full of good ideas for the kid’s gifts. Thanks for sharing those incredible ideas.
These are wonderful ideas! I think it’s a much better option to give children Valentine’s Day gifts that aren’t candy. They can have something they can use for a long time vs something that is gone quickly and also very bad for them.
These are really good tips for the vday gift. I always love to give them creative things such as crafty. art,or puzzle.
Thank you for this. It’s nice to think of treats besides candy!
These are all such great ideas! It’s nice to celebrate with kids, without having to give them so much candy. These are awesome alternatives.
I love these!! Great ideas!
All ideas are amazing, but i like the most is cupcake of loves zigsaw. The color is so beautiful. It’s perfect for valentine’s day.
These are great useful gifts! Thanks for sharing!
Winter items would be great for both kids and adults!
