We enjoy making some fun goodies for Valentine’s Day. These are an easy DIY project that you can do with the kids, whether they help with the chocolate or simply decorate the bark.

Ingredients

White chocolate almond bark

Milk or dark chocolate almond bark

Sprinkles or other toppings (dried fruit, nuts, etc)

Pan and parchment paper

Directions

We used silicone molds because we happened to have them, which made these more like chocolate bars, but you could use a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Melt your milk or dark chocolate according to the directions.

Pour and spread the chocolate over your silicone pan or a parchment-lined baking sheet to form a thin layer on the bottom.

Once the milk or dark chocolate has solidified, repeat with the white chocolate. Sometimes we pop the chocolate in the freezer to harden it up more quickly (or outside on a cold winter day!).

Once you have poured the white chocolate layer, you can start decorating. Make sure to add your sprinkles on top before the white chocolate solidifies.

There are lots of great Valentine’s themed sprinkles out there. You can find plenty at the store or Amazon, like these Valentine’s Day Sprinkles (affiliate link).

Once the chocolate has solidified, you can remove it from the pan and cut it up or break it apart into pieces of bark.
