I love making special treats for Valentine’s Day, and I also enjoy making treats with the kids. This is a cute recipe and is very easy to make! Be sure to snag your M&Ms early before the store runs out.
Ingredients
1 and 2/3 cups (209g) all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup M&Ms (pink, red, and white)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt together until combined.
Combine the butter, granulated sugar, and the brown sugar together until smooth.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat on high speed until combined, about 1 minute.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix.
Roll cookie dough into balls, about 1 teaspoon of dough per cookie.
Bake for 7-8 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
