Disclaimer: I received a complimentary Hoo-Rag in exchange for my honest review.
Things have certainly changed over the past several months with the Coronavirus pandemic. It has become a way of life to always pack a face covering when we leave the house. Here in New York, most stores require a mask or face covering for entry, and it really is just a habit now. When I leave the house, I always make sure I have one.
We recently discovered the Hoo Rag company, which makes a versatile bandana. I quickly learned how much these would be useful, from pandemic times to so many other uses.
You can wear Hoo-rags as face masks, neck gaiters, headwraps, scarves, beanies, hat liners, helmet liners and more.
The Hoo-rag has a UPF30 sun protection rating made of 100% moisture-wicking polyester microfiber.
I have the Kabloom Hoo-rag, and I love it!
There are so many great things about my Hoo-rag. For one, it is incredibly comfortable. The material is a soft microfiber material that feels good on your skin. It is washable and fits in a pocket or purse, in the car, in my bag.
The material is soft, that I thought it wouldn’t stay up on my face, even though the back is on my neck under my hair. However, it stays in place, and doesn’t slip off my nose.
I have been wearing my Hoo-rag for many uses, from working on sanding a table, to those times I need a face covering.
What I really like is that I can wear it around my neck and simply pull it up as needed. This is great for something like a walk or a hike, or when you go somewhere and you aren’t sure if you will be around other people. It doesn’t make sense to wear a mask the whole time, and it is hard to scramble to get a mask on when you are in a hurry, but the Hoo-rag pulls up in a flash when I need it.
I really love this print! There are so many Hoo-rags to choose from, whether you are looking for a solid color, prints, masks with a reflective stripe, or even custom designs.
My husband has a camo Hoo-rag. He has also found that his bandana is good for many different things, from sanding wood to running in cold weather.
In addition to the regular line of Hoo-rags, there is a whole line of Hoo-rags for kids, like this neat skull bandana. I know lots of kids are struggling with wearing masks, and this makes it a breeze when you have fun prints to make it enjoyable.
There are so many designs to choose from at Hoo-rag. Maybe you’re looking for something different, to make a statement, or you have a child who doesn’t want to wear a face covering. Hoo-rag (literally) has you covered!
There is also a Half Hoo, a sports headband. There are other uses for the Half Hoo, like neck gaiter or even as a ponytail holder.
I love this line of products, and I know that I will be using my Hoo-rag for many things.
Hoo rag bandanas are great. Wearing this I guess makes you more fashionable considering that a few people are wearing bandanas as face mask alternatives.
That’s cool that is has UV protection! I will have to look into these. Thanks for the recommendation!
This sounds like it’ll come in handy. I might have to pick one of these up. We’re headed to Disney World in August.
If we have to wear a mask it is nice to find them with style. I will try and get a bunch for the whole family.
Excellent idea so they are not only masks, but also scarves to be dared afterwards even after the pandemic!
I love some of the quirkier designs and how they can be used in various different ways – perfect for these times.
That looks so cool !! I wonder if its available in my country
Looks great! We can look fashionable and yet be safe. I will have to check these out
I love the designs you’ve shown here! I’ll have to get a set for me and my kiddos ; )
Better safe than sorry!
It looks like they have a great assortment of selection. I have to make sure I check out this site.
Oh I love this! My daughter has been looking for a bandana for a while now! I’m heading over to buy some! Thank you!
Super love the bandana, they’re so cool! I would love to get one for my daughter, she’d love it.
Love that they have sun protection and are so versatile. The kids versions are so colourful
These look great and I love that they are able to fill so many different roles.
Those are some really cool designs. Do you find it easy to breathe? I find myself always conscious of my breathing – I know it’s mind over matter but it drives me crazy! We are required to wear a mask here in South Florida too.
This is definitely more breathable than my other cloth masks or n95 mask.
I have been seeing these a lot lately. I like that they have so many different designs.
My family loves bandanas. We all have one. And these ones are so cute!
Wow, they have really a beautiful designs and I love it. Such a nice replacement with my ear loop face mask, definitely getting this for the whole family.
It’s so strange that it’s second nature to wear a mask now and spray on anti bac gel before and after entering shops. These are great designs
These seem like really nice multi-purpose items. It is great that they can be masks, worn around the neck, or even to keep hair pulled back.
That’s a pretty bandana you’re wearing. I love the prints and the color. I would love to have one.
Great for outdoor sports and using in place of a face mask! Sounds like a great brand to check out!
These are so nice. I think it’s great that they have bandanas. I have always loved wearing them. Perfect for a nice mask too.
This is a great alternative to the traditional mask! Super cute designs too! Thanks so much for sharing! Will def look into this! Hope you’re staying safe and healthy during these crazy times! xoxo
Love that they are multi use and have sun protection. The kids’ versions are so bright and cheerful
It’s great to see different options for facemasks. They’re saying when we go back to school the kids will have to wear them.
These are great options for facebmasks, I too wearing cloth masks while going out.
I love all of the fun patterns they have! I’ll have to check them out!
Before reading this, I had never considered getting UV protection masks. Love the fun and quirky designs. I’ll definitively have to check hoo-rag out.
Beautiful design. I love the colors. I would definitely wear this.
These look like great masks. I will have to look into these I need to get some for my kids.
I do like the look of these and that they stay up and cover your nose. My daughter wanted me to look into Hoo-rags since we needs face masks wherever we go. This would definitely be an option for me!
those are really clever and cute ,,i think my teen grandsons would wear these so much better
I have one of these type already and it takes a little getting use to it! I like their designs and so may different options!
Very cute. I love the colors and patterns!
These are nice, and I have to check out the site. It looks like we will be wearing face coverings for a long time. Many people don’t realize that some coverings are easier for them to tolerate than others, and I think Hoo Rag looks like one that can accommodate many different needs! I love the one you are wearing!
I have been seeing guys wearing these and then just pulling it up going in to the store. Had no ideal what they were called got to get me a vouple of these
This looks like it would be great to try out.
Hoo-Rags sounds awesome! I like this style, as you said it’s super easy to just pull up when needed. My husband wears thus style but I have yet to find one that doesn’t fall right off of me! I have a tiny head, lol, and may need a kids one. I am going to go look now, thanks for sharing!
