I always want to get my kids participating in cooking and trying a variety of foods. My older daughter is an adventurous eater while my younger is definitely picky, so it can be a challenge to get them both involved. Remmi is a young chef, spreading her enthusiasm for cooking with her book and subscription box and cookbook for kids.

When the subscription box arrived, we were all excited to dig in and see what arrived!
The kids were so happy to receive something in the mail, which is a treat in itself. Remmi’s Chef Club Box is packed with all kinds of goodies, and it was nice that the majority of items were ones we were not familiar with. The box contains a wide variety of hand-picked items that are meant to inspire kids to eat healthy, including fun activities.
I sent in a bunch of the snacks to school, as they made perfect snacks or sides for lunch. It was nice to try some new things and be able to find some new items.
I think this box is a good balance of foods. There were some treats, like animal cookies and popcorn, and then other tasty goodies like fruit pouches and dried fruit that make easy (yet healthy) snacks. I was thrilled to be able to sample so many different things, many of which I am sure we will be purchasing again. I am also very happy that most of the items were nut-safe so that my youngest could enjoy them.
There is even a bunch of stuff for parents too! I was surprised to find goodies that I could enjoy, which was a fun treat.
There were a bunch of items, but I was probably most surprised to open up a beautiful necklace from The Vintage Pearl!
The parent’s pack included lots of cool goodies, like salad dressing mix (so good!) and a Man-Can sample, which is a company founded by a very young (14-year-old) entrepreneur who came up with the idea of selling candles where each purchase provides a meal for someone in need.
One of the cool things about the box is that it includes coupons so you can continue enjoying products at a discount.

Remmi’s Cookbook is fantastic! The book is a great balance between learning about foods and where they come from too. My 8-year-old has spent a lot of time poring through this book learning about cooking around the world. The book is very interactive, allowing you to even write in the book to keep track of your projects. The recipes in the book are a lot of fun and just right for kids. I feel like the recipes are very doable and not too overwhelming for kids. It gives a chance for kids to try new recipes without being too far out there – like potatoes with lemon, taboule, and fruit salads.
Remmi’s Cookbook and ChefClubBox are both a lot of fun. We are still enjoying items from the December box while we slowly work our way through the recipes in the cookbook. Not only are the kids having fun and trying new foods, but they are learning about foods from around the world and cooking.
