I haven’t had much time for travel lately, and I was excited to hear about a new subscription box – Discover Our America. This box is a really cool concept, and gives you the chance to sample items from different places around the country. I have wanted to travel more with my family, and the box is a good chance to learn about the country, whether or not you have traveled those places.
Monthly, we carefully curate 5-7 products from each state for you to enjoy. Every month, you‘ll receive a new state-themed box.
When I received my Discover Our America box, I couldn’t wait to dig in. We have not been to Michigan, so it has been a nice opportunity to sample and learn about this state. The box is really cute and I could tell right away it was full of great goodies!
I love the variety in this box, and sampled some of the items right away, like this awesome Sanders caramel, a Detroit delicacy. How much fun is it to be able to really dig right in!
In the box is also a booklet about the state. I had a chance to read about different parts of Michigan, like Mackinac Island, which is where the saltwater taffy was made. Although I have heard of Mackinac Island, it was interesting to read about it. I think it would be a lot of fun to take the family there and check it out.
I love tea, and I have been enjoying my wild cherry tea that came in the box.

We have had a lot of fun working our way through the items in the box, and also learning about where they came from and other interesting things about Michigan. It has been a nice experience to share with the family as we all sample different things. I can’t say we are familiar with any of the items in the box, which has made it that much more special!
