We have been enjoying mango lassis for years at restaurants. A lassi is a yogurt-based drink that can be different flavors, but most often we have mango and it is a favorite! It is actually quite easy to make at home and adjust to your taste.
- 1 cup fresh or frozen mango (diced)
- 1 cup plain non-fat yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- optional: a few ice cubes if you are using fresh mango (versus frozen) or want to make this a colder drink
You can easily find frozen mangos, like these from Target. You can also chop up mangos and freeze them, or simply use them fresh.
Place all of your ingredients in a blender.
You can also add in a dash of cinnamon or cardamom powder if desired.
Blend thoroughly until smooth. Add in a couple ice cubes if you want, for a colder beverage (especially if you used fresh mango).
Serve and enjoy!
