We enjoy checking out different local trails as a family. Over the past few years, we have discovered many of the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy preserves. They have a great 22 Preserve Challenge!

We are working on the challenge, and as the weather warms up, we hope to finish the challenge!
Here is the list of 22 preserves, and each completed hike is checked off and linked to my review.
You’re really making some great progress here. I love getting out and exploring nature, so I’m going to be sure to read all the reviews.
I think it’s safe to say we’ll all be enjoying your reviews of all of these parks by the time it’s all over. You aren’t showing any signs of slowing down. I love it!
There is nothing more freeing to the spirit than getting out and communing with nature. I can’t wait to read more about these parks that you’re exploring.
Absolutely love being out in nature and sharing it with my daughter. Thanks for updating us about the places you visit too!
Love this! What a great way to get outside together! We were shocked this summer by how many trails we hadn’t seen that were within an hour of our house. What a great preserve challenge!
This preserve challenge sounds like such a fun idea! I can’t wait to see which preserve you’ll hike next!
We live near a number of preserves. They are some of my favorite places to visit and enjoy nature.
This looks absolutly beautiful and would have loved to read more about the challenge! Preserving nature is a great caus!
Spending quality time in nature is excellent. It does not only make you feel good but provide relaxation to your mind.

WOW, that looks like a great place to go for a hike. It looks so green and lush.
I really want our family to get outside more together. We usually get complaints from the kids if we want to go for a family walk or hike. I think we just need to do it more.
that is so amazing and your list of completed travels inspires me to start one for myself for our local trails (and there are many!)
Wow, I love this challenge! To review these 20 preserves, must be a dream.
Very nice challenge. I might just take part.
I loved this challenge of yours, plus being in nature is always good… Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.
