I am a big tea drinker, and I enjoy trying different kinds of teas and different tea recipes. I first tried a London Fog Latte at a coffee shop, but of course had to learn how to make my own!
I am a huge fan of Earl Grey tea, so naturally this ended up being a favorite drink of mine. It is easy to make at home and is a nice treat.
Ingredients:
- Earl grey tea (preferably with lavender, but not required). I found a great Twinings Earl Grey Lavender tea, but you could either make your own blend or use Earl Grey on its own. It will still be amazing!
- 1/2 cup (4oz) steamed milk
- Sweetener to taste and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla syrup to taste)
Directions:
Brew a strong cup of Earl Grey Tea.
While the tea is brewing, heat up 1/2 cup of milk, and froth or whisk. I have a cheap frother that works fine, or you could whisk. Honestly, if you skip the frothing, that is ok. (Sometimes I cheat and just use a liquid coffee creamer!). Don’t boil the milk, and if you use a non-dairy alternative, go with that.
I originally had an Earl Grey Latte at a coffee shop, and I love making it at home, especially on a cold winter day. What a great combination of flavors and a delicious treat.
I like tea on occasion, tea recipes have always appealed to me. I’m looking forward to making this, as soon as I get some Earl Grey.
Mmm…This looks delicious! Black tea is one of my favorite teas to add a bit of cream! You’ve convinced me. I need to get a frother and pick up a box of Earl Grey. 🙂
I didn’t know they had a latte option as well. I know someone who would love to try it! sharing with her.
I am not a fan of tea but would still want to try this! I think it’s easy to make and will satisfy my taste.
This looks SO good! I love my tea but, I don’t think I’ve ever had it this way before.

Love this– Earl Grey is my favorite by I had not seen the Lavender option. I will have to look for it. For Christmas someone gave me vanilla infused sugar and it would be yummy in this!

Early grey is one of my favorite tea flavors. I would rather tea over coffee many times.
mmm I don’t know about adding milk to herbal tea. I have tried it but I can’t seem to get it right. My daughter does add milk every now and then and she only drinks herbal teas! Going to suggest this to her.
Mmm looks delicious, I have all the ingredients, so will try it today.
