I received Mu Mu Muesli in exchange for my honest review.
The word “muesli” takes me back to my childhood, as I vividly remember having muesli quite often. While it has been some time since I have had it, I was excited to try Mu Mu Muesli.
I have had a lot of people ask me exactly what is muesli? It is a mix of raw, uncooked oats with other ingredients, and can be prepared several ways. Mu Mu Muesli is all natural, and tastes fantastic. I love that it doesn’t have additives like artificial colors, dyes, or preservatives – and no added sweeteners. Not only that, but the ingredients are good for you. So in a world full of sugary, overprocessed cereals, Mu Mu Muesli is a refreshing change!
I love this mix of muesli, especially the dried cranberries and coconut, and the bits of dried dates.
As a child, I remember my mom having muesli with milk, and I mixed with orange juice. (The orange juice may sound strange, but I am not a big fan of milk, so I eat my cereals with either coconut milk or orange juice!).
There are lots of great ways to eat muesli, probably most commonly as a cereal. Mu Mu Muesli suggests some methods, but you can also come up with your own creative ways too.
Muesli & Milk
Eat this just like you would a regular cereal or granola – add milk, coconut milk, etc. Or juice, if you are like me!
Hot muesli
You can treat this just like you would oatmeal – heat it up as a nice warm breakfast cereal.
Overnight “oats”
Overnight oats have gained a lot of popularity lately, but it has been around for a while, and is a popular method in Sweden. Combine your Mu Mu with 1/2 cup water or milk with 1/4 cup yogurt and let soak overnight. You can add in anything else you’d like as well, like fresh fruit, honey, and so on.
Mix with yogurt
I always liked mixing cereal with yogurt, and this is no different.
Eat it plain
I love foods like trail mix and “raw” types of meal bars, and I have no problem eating muesli by the handful. (Maybe with some coconut milk to drink?). Only downside to this? It can be messy eating it out of your hand if you are on the go.
There are other ways too, so be creative!
The ingredients are simple and straightforward, all-natural with no artificial ingredients: Organic whole rolled oats, whole wheat flakes, organic coconut, cranberries, organic dates, roasted almonds, organic raisins, organic flax seeds.
Another thing I love about Mu Mu Muesli is that it isn’t just about eating healthy, but also about sustainability. Â The production of Mu Mu is solar powered. Â Their ingredients are sourced from farms in the US. Â The Mu Mu packaging is eco-friendly. Â I love when a company takes everything into consideration, like supporting local and being mindful about their environmental impact
Interestingly enough, Mu Mu Muesli is created not too far from where I live in Upstate NY. I thought it was pretty neat that the owners run a small operation in the Sharon Springs area, and by some strange coincidence, my father-in-law saw a bag of this at my house and remarked that he makes a special trip (a long one, at that) to one of the Mu Mu Muesli retailers just for this muesli!
As a busy mom, Mu Mu Muesli is an easy addition to my day, and keeps me on track with eating healthy. Our mornings are a whirlwind, as I have to get the kids out the door and then I rush to get ready for work. I am on my feet for almost 6 hours straight and then I’m back home to take the kids to their activities, meets, and so on – or doing chores. It is important to me to eat foods that are natural but also help sustain my energy during the day, and Mu Mu Muesli is a perfect way to start my day!

I love muesli, makes a great breakfast or snack in the evening. I think I first had it when I was in Europe many years ago. I am not familiar with the Mu Mu Muesli so will look at their website and see where it’s available.
That looks so good! I love muesli for breakfast. It’s so filling and full of all the good stuff that powers me through my morning. I haven’t heard of Mu Mu Muesli, but I’ll definitely give it a try. It looks yummy.
I have to say that I really love cereals like this. Looks like it is really healthy and tastes good too. I am not the biggest milk fan which keeps me away from cereal, but when my body is craving milk, I have cereal on those days and whenever I have cereal, it usually looks something like this kind of cereal.
This looks so good. I love muesli for breakfast. I’ve been planning to try overnight oats. I am always so rushed in the morning, and they would be perfect for fueling my day.
Muesli is super popular in Denmark, but I’ve lived here for almost seven years and haven’t warmed up to it. There’s a ban on fortified foods here, so most foreign breakfast cereals are out of bounds. But that doesn’t stop me from bringing them back with me when I travel abroad 🙂
I’m really into granola type cereals that have lots of different textures, I just bought one a few days ago. I may have to Mu Mu Muesli a try. Thank you for the recommendation!
I love muesli but I have never heard of this brand. I am going to have to try it out. I love baking with Muesli. I have been making breakfast cookies using it for the kids. They love that recipe. SOunds like Mu Mu Muesli is a yummy brand.
Looks like a great way to start the day! I am always looking to a good way to get me going in the morning – I would love to try this muesli. A few years ago I was into muesli a lot, and then I kind of forgot about it. I haven’t seen this product in our stores yet, I will have to check – thank you for sharing more about this product!
I had to go back and make sure that I read what you wrote right. Orange juice with your cereal?! That is a new one to me! I’m surprised that my orange juice loving son hasn’t attempted to do that before. Muesli looks like a hearty way to start your day!
This look a unique breakfast for me! I really love this and so interesting looks like I want to try this at home and I know my wife would surely love this too, Glad you share this with us
Don’t shoot me. I love the stuff but can’t stand the word lol. I love it in all different ways and with all different things in it. I don’t think I could do the orange juice thing with it but I know a kiddo could. It’s also yummy alongside yogurt.
Wow!! I’ve never heard of this brand before! It sounds not only delicious but healthy too… PS – I even love the packaging! What a cool cow 😉
I would eat Mu Mu Muesli with milk and, yes, a lot of sweetener. A lot of sugar would be ideal, but because I’m such a healthy-liver, I would use a ton of Splenda!
Looks like a great way to start the day! I am always looking to a good way to get me going in the morning – I would love to try this muesli.
8 simple, whole ingredients, whole rolled oats with organic fruit, almonds, coconut and flax seeds & toasted wheat flakes. I like the simplicity. I can’t stand “guessing” what I just bit into.
I would eat this on top of my morning oatmeal or in milk like cereal.
I love that MU Mu Muesli was named one of 5 “most scrumptious” cereals in the country by Vegetarian Times!
I would like to sprinkle some on Greek yogurt for a breakfast or snack. The pancake mix looks good too.
I would eat Mu Mu Muesli as a cold cereal.
I would definitely eat Mu Mu Muesli with yogurt – I love the great mix of tastss and textures!
That is interesting! I have been browsing for a post like this for a long moment.
The natural sweetness of muesli, derived from the combination of oats and dried fruits, eliminates the need for added sugars. This not only enhances the taste but also ensures a healthier breakfast option for individuals of all ages.
