I recently visited the Topsail area of North Carolina, and I wanted to check out the Topsail Aquarium. I actually had a tough time finding the aquarium even with Google Maps, because it is a bit small and there is a lot of street parking.

However, we were able to find it and were glad to have the opportunity to check it out.

There are only a handful of parking spots in front of the aquarium, so plan on purchasing street parking.

The aquarium is small, but makes good use of the space that it has with a lot of exhibits and a variety of things to check out.

We saw these interesting turtles swimming in a large tank.

There are a variety of animals here, not just marine mammals. For examples, lizards, snakes, and frogs.

There was a fun area for kids, where they could pretend to be veterinarians. My kids used to love these kinds of imaginary play places when they were little.

Topsail Aquarium is small, but it was a cute stop on our trip. Definitely worth checking out if you are staying on the island with kids.
