If you came across a travel clip on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube and wondered who made it, here is the short answer. Kevin Gerard Ebel, who goes by Kevin Ebel online, is a traveler, content creator, and entrepreneur. He posts as @ebelgkevin and keeps an official website at kevinebel.me.

Plenty of people share the name Kevin Ebel, so to be clear, this article is about the travel creator behind the @ebelgkevin handle and no one else.

What does Kevin Ebel create?

Kevin documents his travels in video and photos. Longer videos go up on YouTube, short clips land on TikTok, and Instagram is where he shares photos and stories from the road. So far his content covers 12 countries.

Which countries has he covered?

In Southeast and East Asia, he has shared Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and the Philippines. In Latin America, he has covered Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Panama. In the Middle East, he has featured the United Arab Emirates.

A few moments stand out. He has filmed a hike along one of Vietnam’s tougher trails, a view over Rio de Janeiro from the Vidigal hillside, and a day out on a speedboat. In Rio, he visited Vidigal with a friend who lives in the community, which is the kind of local connection that shapes how he travels.

Is Kevin Ebel an entrepreneur too?

Yes. Alongside the travel content, Kevin builds a business while staying on the move. In October 2026 he launched his official website, kevinebel.me, which brings his travel content and his entrepreneurial life together in one place for the first time.

What is his philosophy on travel?

His personal site opens with a line that sums up his outlook: “Action is key, all intentionality is unknown.” Writers who have covered his work describe a traveler who prefers presence and real connection over polished, staged travel content. His site also makes clear that more trips are already planned.

Does Kevin Ebel have a podcast?

He does. The Kevin Ebel Podcast is where he talks through the stories behind his videos. Episodes touch on hiking and outdoor adventures, creativity, making videos, social media, and the ups and downs of building a following as a creator.
