I love making our yard and backyard a sanctuary. I have always tried to make it cozy and inviting for both family, guests, and wildlife too. There is nothing more relaxing than sittingo n the patio and enjoying bird watching.

We have had some basic bird baths and feeders for a while, but the Poposoap Bird Bath kit caught my eye since it has a solar power fountain.

I have always had bird baths in the backyard, but never installed a fountain in them. It always seemed like it would be a big project, but I was happy to find that this was easily installable in just a matter of minutes!

This is one of the smaller fountains available at Poposoap, and in the future I would love to create a small backyard pond and use one of their large fountains or even a waterfall feature.

The great thing about this fountain is that it does not require any tools. It comes with everything you need and is ready in a matter of minutes. You can also customize it with different spray patterns to however you want it to appear or run.

While I wasn’t able to capture great pictures of the birds that regularly visit the fountain, I was able to get a photo of this squirrel enjoying a drink on a very hot day. We get so many different birds visiting the bird bath, such as sparrows, jays, cardinals, chickadees, and more! And our weather has gone from cold and gray to some high heat days, and I am happy knowing that I am able to help provide our backyard wildlife with a source of water.

I love the sound of the water running, which also attracts wildlife. It really adds to the ambiance of our patio setting, including all the wildlife that it draws to our backyard.

The fountain has a nice feature where it senses if the pump is dry (the water is too low) and will not run and ruin the motor. One less thing that I have to think about or worry that the unit will wear out, which is great.

It has a nice big solar panel, and it runs nicely even in what I consider lower light conditions. Our garden is too far to be able to hardwire something to the house, so this is perfect. We have used a lot of solar products to be more eco-friendly, and this is a great addition to the backyard. This is a nice quality panel that works well, as I have found that other solar products often disappoint. This is great for those hot, sunny days when the wildlife needs a refuge from the heat.
