Starting the new year with new skincare products feels like a fresh start. Over the years, I find myself stuck in a skincare routine, a skincare rut. As the seasons change our needs change, this is a great time to try out some new products.

I recently learned of the AprilSkin line of products, which focuses on a more natural approach to skincare. These gentle products are formulated for gentle, but effective skincare.

Pink Aloe Facial Polish Cleanser

The pink aloe is a great fit for this time of year as we are battling dry winter skin. It has fine exfoliation and feels great on my skin. It helps to polish my skin so that it looks healthy and refreshed. The particles are very fine and does not irritate my skin, and gently removes dry skin.

I like that this does a good job of cleaning off my makeup as well as dry skin. The fine particles polish my skin but don’t leave it red or irritated. So my skin feels very clean and fresh.

I love the texture, which has a thickness to it that makes me feel like I can apply this with good coverage. I have an uneven skin tone, and this feels good on my skin and leaves it looking much smoother and healthier.

Calendula Peel-Off Mask

My daughter used the Calendula Peel-Off Mask, which comes in a convenient tube and is not messy like packets or tubs.

You simply apply it to your skin, allow to dry, and peel off. It dries quickly, so it doesn’t take forever, and it is easy to peel off. I have used some masks that left behind such a mess, but that is not the case with this one. It is gentle and did not cause any irritation.

This helps with blackheads, smoothing out skin texture, and more. It really helps with exfoliation as well, since we have that dry winter skin right now.

These were wonderful products to sample from the AprilSkin line of skincare products. They have quite a few products to choose from, so I am looking forward to using some of their other skincare items.
