I enjoy coffee on a daily basis, starting every day with a fresh cup of coffee made at home. I usually add an afternoon pick-me-up or iced coffee to round out the work day. For me, coffee is a special part of the day that I look forward to, and I have tried a lot of different coffees.

I discovered the Fresh Roasted Coffee Company as I was looking to restock my coffees for the upcoming school year. There are so many different options, from types of coffee to a variety of whole beans to finely ground options, as well as k-cups. There are also a variety of teas, so if you are like me and want to stock up your coffee and tea cabinet or workplace, there is a lot to choose from!

I like darker roasts, and we try to be an eco-friendly household, so I really lucked out in discovering Envipods Coffee, which is organic and has a biodegradable k-cup construction.

Even the bags that the pods come in are biodegradable!

The pods can go right in the compost bin. What a great alternative to plastic!

I tried three flavors, which have all been fantastic.

The Sumatra is my favorite. I love dark coffees, and this has a rich, earthy tone with chocolate notes. I enjoy a bold coffee, and this one did not disappoint!

Another favorite was the Dark Knight blend. It has a strong, rich and bold taste. This is an awesome one to wake you up in the morning.

The Colombian coffee is a lighter, very smooth coffee. Perfect for my daily coffee routine, whether you want to go lighter in the morning or afternoon. This blend is so versatile.

I had no idea what to expect from the Donut Shop coffee, but it is very good. I was worried that it might have an artificial flavor, as the website describes this as having notes of “milk chocolate and orange”, but it is very smooth with no overly strong characteristics.

Normally I sample coffees and have a hard time settling on any, but these are all ones I would purchase again!
