I can’t tell you how many years my kids enjoyed listening to Laurie Berkner’s music.  I know so many of her songs by heart!  This October, Laurie Berkner is releasing her second holiday album, “Another Laurie Berkner Christmas”. Her last holiday album was produced ten years ago, and it is fun to see some new holiday music being added to the collection this year.

This album has several musicians accompanying Laurie Berkner.  They include her regular bandmates Susie Lampert, Brady Rymer, and Bobby Golden, as well as guest musicians David Mann and Trevor Neumann. Special guests are Suzzy Roche, Lucy Wainwright Roche, and Norm Lewis (a well-known Broadway performer).

With 19 tracks and almost an hour of run time, this album is a great addition to your holiday festivities. There are both Christmas classics, as well as original songs by Laurie Berkner. Original songs include “I Live Inside A Snowglobe,” “Little Tree,” and “Icicles” – all wonderfully inviting songs to celebrate the holidays.

The thing I have always enjoyed about Laurie Berkner’s music is that it is not like a lot of generic kids music that is annoying; I completely enjoy Berkner’s music along with the kids.  These tunes are so well done and relaxing, it really is a perfect addition to the winter months. Each song is warm and comforting, exuding a peaceful and happy feeling.

This album is available October 28, 2022.
