With an extensive career in music, I am surprised that I had not heard of Kelli Welli before. Welli has done several children’s albums and many other musical projects over the years, and is releasing “Let’s Go, Pistachio” on January 29, 2021. This cute album comes with fun google eyes that really exude the fun character of the music!

How I miss the days of playing children’s music in the car and singing along with the kids! This album is bursting with fun and lots of great celebrations of childhood, like learning to use the potty or losing your first tooth. Other tracks, like “I’m Proud of You” (inspired by Welli’s childhood), are great songs to enjoy as a parent alongside your child.

The whole album is upbeat and very catchy, and I would describe it as having a folk/kindie vibe to it. While there is plenty of silliness in the album, this album won’t drive you crazy with over the top sounds.

As a mom of two children herself, Kelli’s songs are relatable to kids and families.

“As a parent of young children myself, I know what it’s like to listen to the same music on repeat. So I appreciate songs that are smart, have depth, make me and my kids laugh, give teaching tools, just make us laugh together, or include elements that make me feel connected to other parents going through similar stages, worries, joys, and priceless moments.
