I love making matcha lattes, and we also love hot cocoa… so I thought why not combine the two! This is a lovely drink that is pretty, too! And it is very easy to make – just about as long as it takes to make a cup of hot cocoa.
All you need is white hot chocolate mix, and matcha powder.
To make your drink, measure out the hot cocoa powder and a teaspoon of matcha powder.
Add hot water and whisk the cocoa and matcha together. I have a milk frother, so I use that. Whisk until the ingredients are thoroughly blended without any chunks.
This is a cozy drink to enjoy especially in the wintertime. So quick and easy to make and it’s nice to have a dash of matcha for some energy and health benefits, too.
