I like finding recipes that I can make with my two kids. They are big fans of fudge, but we can’t always find peanut-safe versions at the bakery, so we would rather make our own and have some fun with it.
This is an easy recipe that only requires microwaving the ingredients quickly in a bowl – no worries about the hassles of having to cook over the stove.
Ingredients
– 1 can sweetened condensed milk
– 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
– 1/4 cup butter
– 1 cup optional: nuts, marshmallows, sprinkles, etc.
Directions
Add your chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter together in a large microwaveable bowl.
Microwave in increments until the ingredients can be mixed. You do not want to overheat the mix, so check periodically to see if the ingredients are melting.
Lastly, add in any “extras” you may want, from mini marshmallows to nuts. You can either stir these in, or add the as toppings.
Pour the mix into a greased 8×8-inch glass baking dish.
Refrigerate until the mix is set.
Cut into pieces and enjoy!
