Sara Lovell’s “Wild Is Everywhere” Album for Kids (**GIVEAWAY**)

Wild is Everywhere

I received a copy of this CD in exchange for my honest review.

Just in time for Earth Day, Sara Lovell is out with her second children’s album, “Wild is Everywhere”.  This CD celebrates the great outdoors, animals, and being yourself.  Lovell’s first album, You’ve Got Me, won a 2016 Parents’ Choice Gold Award, and her original songs continue to deliver fun music to families in Wild is Everywhere.

Sara Lovell

Wild is Everywhere is filled with fun, upbeat songs about enjoying life.  I love the theme of this CD, which is so positive and just embraces a positive feeling – a day filled with happy things.  Lovell has an amazing voice, which she puts to creative use on her album with a range of different styles in her songs.  She shows off her versatility from a soothing lullaby to songs that get kids up and dancing.  I can see this album sparking a child’s imagination as they go on a musical journey through interesting adventures.

While the album is upbeat, it has a variety of differently-paced songs.  While there are those that are sure to get kids on their feet (“Bounce”!), there are slower paced songs that make for a nice change.  It is nice to find a children’s album that isn’t all high-energy and that only gets kids wound up.

My favorite song is “Pie in the Sky”, a slower-paced lullaby song that takes a moment to relax.  This song is just downright beautiful – not only is it just a fantastic arrangement, but it takes you on a relaxing journey full of images of incredible crystalline caves and dreams of riding a whale.

Check out “Bounce” here:

Upbeat music always puts me and my kids in a great mood. While the older kids may prefer music that’s not akin to my tastes, my younger ones would like this.

That sounds like so much fun. I love music playing in the house, and those messages would be great for the kids to pick up on.
