I have been seeing a lot of recipes for pink sauce pasta lately. After having luck with a bunch of TikTok recipes, I really wanted to give this a try. This turned out to be easy and very flavorful!

Ingredients

1/2 lb pasta
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup heavy cream
Olive oil
Tomato paste
1 cup tomato sauce
3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 parmesan cheese
Basil (optional)
Salt, pepper (to taste)

Directions

Cook 1/2 lb pasta until it is al dente.

Drain the pasta. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

Bowl of uncooked pasta

Heat 3 tablespoons of butter and a little bit of olive oil in a pan.

On medium heat, add in 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add 3 tablespoons of tomato paste.

Heat and mix.

Add in 1 cup tomato sauce. Bring to a summer, then add in 3/4 cup of heavy cream.

Add in seasonings – salt, pepper.

Add in 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 parmesan cheese. I prefer to grate my own cheese in recipes, for the best texture.

Heat until cheese is melted, and add the basil.

Add in your pasta.

Mix thoroughly and top with parmesan if desired to serve. You can also add an extra garnish of basil.
