Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Markets are a great choice to explore all the deep details any culture has to offer. Great trinkets, art, and local goods are all available in the markets.

However, Damnoen Saduak isn’t any normal market. It’s a floating market where you will see hundreds of vendors floating in small boats selling fruits to other local products. Even if you don’t buy anything, you’ll have a great time experiencing the local atmosphere.

If you want to escape the crowds, head to Klong Lat Mayom Floating Market in Bangkok and Tha Kha Floating Market in Samut Songkhram. A less-touristy vibe with the atmosphere of a floating market can be found in both places.

Death Railway

The railway bridge over the River Kwai was written in the history books thanks to the terrors of WWII. The Death Railway devoted to the thousands of POWs and forced laborers who lost their lives building it during WWII. These days, some parts of the Death Railway is still functional.
