I love quick and simple recipes, and these cookies are a great way to use up bananas. There aren’t too many ingredients, and these are easy to make.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 cups oatmeal (I usually use quick oats)
- 2 bananas
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
- Optional: cinnamon
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Prepare your cookie sheet (we use a silpat or nonstick aluminum foil).
Using a fork, mash up the bananas in a bowl.
Add in oats and gently stir until all of the oats and bananas are mixed together and look like a thick cookie batter.
Now you can add in your chocolate chips. Sprinkle them into the dough and stir until they are just mixed throughout.
Scoop the mix by spoonfuls or use your hands to form cookies, and place on your cookie sheet.
Bake for approx. 12-15 minutes.
Enjoy your cookies!
I tried these but my bananas were a little too over ripe and didn’t taste good. I’m waiting for another bunch of bananas to get ripe so I can try again!
I have never made banana cookies before but these look so delicious! I love banana breads and so these would probably be something I would love.
