- 5-6: Meets minimum accessibility standards

Accessibility isn’t optional compliance work—it’s fundamental design quality. Options scoring poorly here are automatically disqualified regardless of other dimension scores.
Dimension 5: Brand Consistency (Weight: 8%)
Evaluation question: How well does this option align with established brand identity and design language?
Scoring criteria:
- 9-10: Perfect expression of brand personality and design system
- 7-8: Consistent with brand, minor variations justified by context
- 5-6: Neutral, neither reinforcing nor violating brand
- 3-4: Slight brand inconsistency creating minor confusion
- 1-2: Contradicts established brand identity significantly

Brand consistency matters but receives lowest weight because it’s the most flexible dimension. Sometimes intentional brand evolution or context-specific variation justifies departing from strict consistency.

Client needed to choose between five hero section designs for their SaaS product homepage. All five looked professional and were technically feasible. Without systematic evaluation, the choice would have been arbitrary stakeholder preference.
