We enjoy hiking throughout the Capital Region, from revisiting trails to checking out new ones. We are working on the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy 20 Preserve Challenge, and recently learned of the Niskayuna 9 Challenge. You can earn a patch by doing the hikes, but I just like finding new hikes and creating new challenges for myself.
We have visited many of these and hope to check them all out!

That waterfall is so beautiful. I wish that we had local trails like this to go hiking. I did a bit of research and there are a few things around but it looks like if I wanted the cool places, Id have to drive a few hours south.
Sharing this with a friend of mine that hikes for the soul purpose of finding waterfalls!
