Experienced children’s musician Dana Cohenour is back with her seventh album! “A Place to Call Home” is a fun album about the world around us.
Every living being, from honey bees to humans, needs a safe place to call home. The latest recording from award-winning children’s artist, Dana explores the different places animals make their homes. Featuring numerous musical genres from rock to reggae, bluegrass to bossa nova, the album is designed to educate and entertain children while planting seeds of care for the planet we all call home.
Dana has many years of experience writing and performing music, and has won numerous awards over the years for her work.
This album is lots of fun, but has kids learning about animals and nature. It is great to be able to find music that the kids can enjoy, but also has a wonderful educational component.
Check out the world premiere of “Honey Bee Bee Bop”! I have always taught my kids the importance of pollinators, and this fun song encourages kids to do the “waggle dance” with the honey bees!
You can purchase “A Place to Call Home” on June 6, 2020!

Ooh that’s so fun. I haven’t heard of her but she seems like she’s a great musician for children!
Music plays an important part in children development and to have good music to play with daily for them is crucial.
Oscar would love this! He’s massively into music 🙂
