Great tips. I would love to be motivated enough to workout at home for those days that I just don’t feel like heading out to the gym (I have a membership).
I always wanted to get an Elliptical Machine. When I was a gym member I used this all the time and would be happy with one in my home.
Don’t forget a foam roller! After a workout, you’ll need it to help keep from getting sore!
This is really good information. I used to go to a gym, then started using barbells at home, that is until I tore my rotator cuf when I was lifting wearing only socks. I can’t believe I did that, looking back. It is easy to not be as careful at home. I got rid of those weights and now use lightweight dumb bells and other things, I’d like to do more. I loved rowing at the gym, but don’t have the space or $$.
Lately I’ve been doing pilates videos on youtube. Some of the videos are pretty short, most don’t require weights or anything like that so I can easily do it when I have time and can’t make it to the gym which is normally every single day, why do I have a gym membership!
Thanks for this great information. It would be nice to have a lot of these things and work out form home.
I can not live without my treadmill that was given to me by a relative. I really can get my exercises done indoors and when the weather is bad, I can get my exercise done with out having to get rained on.
