This CD was provided exchange for an honest review.
We have enjoyed Brady Rymer’s music for a while now, from his last “Just Say Hi” album, to getting him see him perform live on stage. (We even had a chance to meet him briefly backstage last year, which was awesome!).
Rymer’s music is highly acclaimed, from Grammy nominations and to awards, and it is no surprise as this is his 8th album! He also tours the country with his band and also performing with the Laurie Berkner Band.
“Press Play” has a great high energy, toe-tapping feeling to it. This is a great album for our summer road trips and keeps an upbeat mood in the car. Rymer and The Little Band That Could perfects the art of a feel-good children’s album without going over the top – I can truly say I enjoy this album too.
A modern Americana mashup! We borrow a lil’ R&B from Stax Records, nod to Aretha’s gospel roots and stir in some Everly Brothers-style harmonies to cook up a tasty musical stew for your family. PRESS PLAY to enjoy the catchy, singalong hooks and sweet stories…
“Your Love Turns the World Around” is a slower-paced song on the album, but exudes lots of positive energy just like the rest of the tracks. The whole album is really full of happiness and positive messages, like doing good deeds.
The Little Band That Could has a great variety of instruments and vocals, provided by Claudia Mussen, Liz Queler, Seth Farber, Jeremy Chatzky, Larry Eagle, and Dan Myers. The band brings together such a nice combination of sounds.
