Holidays can be full of sugary treats, often loaded with food dyes. If you are looking for an easy way to create a green, yet healthy snack, green fruit salad is a perfect food to make.
No added sugar, no artificial food dyes, just fruit! This is a great treat for St. Patrick’s day, or any time!
For our green fruit salad, we used:
~ Green grapes
~ Honeydew melon
~ Kiwis
~ You can also add green apples (cut up, but keep the skin on).
In addition to cutting up the melon, kiwi, and apples, you may want to cut up the grapes, especially if you are serving to younger children.
Serve in a large bowl, or divide up into small, clear plastic cups.
You can top with some whipped cream (and even some green sprinkles for St. Patrick’s Day)!
