Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Markets are a great choice to explore all the deep details any culture has to offer. Great trinkets, art, and local goods are all available in the markets. 

However, Damnoen Saduak isn’t any normal market. It’s a floating market where you will see hundreds of vendors floating in small boats selling fruits to other local products. Even if you don’t buy anything, you’ll have a great time experiencing the local atmosphere. 

If you want to escape the crowds, head to Klong Lat Mayom Floating Market in Bangkok and Tha Kha Floating Market in Samut Songkhram. A less-touristy vibe with the atmosphere of a floating market can be found in both places. 

Death Railway 

The railway bridge over the River Kwai was written in the history books thanks to the terrors of WWII. The Death Railway devoted to the thousands of POWs and forced laborers who lost their lives building it during WWII. These days, some parts of the Death Railway is still functional. 

Bangkok

Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand. and you will be surprised at the number of things you can do here. Explore some of the well-known temples, the wide variety of markets, and other unique sites such as the Grand Palace in the old town. Bangkok is a city that is entertaining to take a walk through. Its mix of modern and classical living makes it a place you should check off of your travel check-list. Also, don’t forget to explore Chinatown, a heaven for street food lovers where all kinds of delicious street food can be found in one place.

Chiang Mai

A trip to Thailand is not complete without visiting Chiang Mai. The “capital” of northern Thailand happens to be the second-largest city in the country. If your preference is a slow life, nature and friendly people, then Chiang Mai will meet your needs. Be sure to check out Bua Tong “Sticky” Waterfalls, ethical elephant sanctuaries, and stunning mountain views while you’re there! 

The beaches

Moreover, a trip to Thailand is also not complete without going to the beaches. Along the coasts of the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand has some of the most spectacular beaches in the world. If the aquamarine waters and pristine sandy beaches are your favourites, head to Koh Samui or Phuket.
