earth birth sign

If you are one of the Earth birth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) there are some careers that may be perfect for you. When you take a break from your career to start a family, it can make you re-evaluate what you want to do with your life and where you want to work.

Many Moms choose to work part-time or to start freelance work so that they have some more flexibility.  Others get some child care in place and return to a full-time career. Increasingly, we see Dads sharing the child care and, of course, grandparents are often on standby to help you.

So, as an Earth sign, should you return to your old career or find something more suitable? Here are a few pointers.

The determined Taurean

If you are born under the star sign of Taurus you may crave security in your employment. You are ruled by the harmony planet, Venus, so you easily settle into a steady job. Perhaps, freelancing is not the best option for you. You can be stubborn and dig your heels in when it would be better to compromise!

You are very even tempered and can keep calm in stressful situations which makes you an asset in any workplace. Your ideal career would be anything to do with the arts, working with plants and animals or anything to do with finances.

The critical Virgo

You are very good at spotting faults with things and so that makes you very good at jobs where you are assessing or judging things. Perhaps an examiner or an assessor of some sort?

Whilst these traits may cause some issues in your love life as described at AstroStyle, they can be extremely useful in the workplace.  You certainly know all about attention to detail and are highly intelligent. It is very important to you that you are satisfied with the work that you have completed.

Workers who are born under the Taurus birth sign do well in customer service, teaching, and public relations because they spot those issues that others would miss.

Traditional Capricorn

It’s all about the money with Capricorns so working for a pittance is not for you. If you are already in a highly paid job, you would find it hard to give this up.

On the other hand, your employer will not want to lose you either. You take everything to do with your job in stride and are a great problem solver. If there’s any troubleshooting needed, they will be calling you in. You rarely get ruffled about anything at all. The downside is that you can come across as cold-hearted and aloof and this can annoy your colleagues. You may not be the most popular person at work but you get the job done!

You are a stickler for routines and rules and so you would be a perfect security guard or government official. Your love of punctuality and order would also make you an excellent watchmaker or jeweler.
