This diet was developed by Dawn Jackson Blatner who is a registered dietician. The Flexitarian diet is designed for those keen on being vegetarians, yet would prefer not to surrender meat totally. It requires dieters to include “new meat” to their diet plans, such as: protein-packed tofu, nuts, eggs, beans and lentils. However, craving for meat occasionally is not a major deal in this diet.
