With another school year underway, it has been a crazy several weeks. The kids are exhausted and adjusting to a whole new schedule between school and activities as well as plenty to keep us busy on weekends. We are trying to eat well balanced meals and stay healthy, which can all be a challenge.
Rainbow Light Nutritionals has a wide variety of supplements for the whole family, from babies to adults. I actually used their NutriStart Multivitamin Powder many years ago (formulated for kids ages 6 months to 4 years), but now that my kids are older, there are a variety of convenient chewables to choose from.
My older daughter has been a fan of Rainbow Light NutriStars for a while now, so we were excited to try some of their other supplements too. The kids can be picky, so it is a nice to find a good vitamin that they actually like! We have tried many vitamins, and it can certainly be a challenge to find vitamins that are free of additives, but at the same time ones that the kids will also willingly take!
The Power Sours have been a hit with both kids. The kids love these tasty little gummies, which are a great way to start the day. These are something a little different, and the kids think that these multivitamins are pretty cool because of the sour flavor.
The Vitamin C is a great addition to our routine, as I know the kids are fighting off lots of germs. These are an easy way to boost your children’s immune health throughout the year, and especially if they need a dose of Vitamin C.
The kids love these little ‘orange slices’, especially my 5-year-old, who has a reputation for being picky about foods and vitamins. She even asks for them every day, which means a lot!
The packaging for the Power Sours and the Vitamin C slices are fantastic. The boxes convert to a dispenser, and the gummies are packaged in individual packets. My kids have actually taken the initiative to take their vitamins on their own, the packets also make it easy to take these with us on trips because I can just grab as many packets as we need and toss them in my bag. (I am very careful about making sure the kids know to take only one set per day – keep out of the reach of younger kids and explain to older children about taking the appropriate dose, no matter how delicious!).
The Probilicious Gummies are also fantastic! My youngest has eczema, and we have found that being consistent with probiotics really helps. I am a huge proponent of probiotics for the whole family, and these berry-flavored gummies taste amazing. There are lots of benefits to these probiotics, including overall digestive health. They are for both kids and adults and are a nice way to support your gut health. I highly recommend bringing these along when you travel, since it is harder to eat a regular diet on the road.
I am a label-reader, and my daughter has a nut allergy, and I am thoroughly happy with the ingredients in Rainbow Light supplements. These are free of gluten, wheat, milk/dairy, nuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, yeast, artificial additives and preservatives – and no worries about any artificial colors or flavors. For example, the Vitamin C slices get their color from paprika, and have natural mandarin orange flavor.
These are just a few of the many Rainbow Light supplements available for kids, and there are also many more for adults. My kids could definitely use the Fiber supplements and more, like the “Omegalicious” chews to support those growing minds and bodies! Have a healthy, happy school year!
