I am a big tea drinker, and I enjoy trying different kinds of teas and different tea recipes. I first tried a London Fog Latte at a coffee shop, but of course had to learn how to make my own!

I am a huge fan of Earl Grey tea, so naturally this ended up being a favorite drink of mine. It is easy to make at home and is a nice treat.

Ingredients:

  • Earl grey tea (preferably with lavender, but not required). I found a great Twinings Earl Grey Lavender tea, but you could either make your own blend or use Earl Grey on its own. It will still be amazing!
  • 1/2 cup (4oz) steamed milk
  • Sweetener to taste and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla syrup to taste)

Directions:

Brew a strong cup of Earl Grey Tea.

While the tea is brewing, heat up 1/2 cup of milk, and froth or whisk. I have a cheap frother that works fine, or you could whisk. Honestly, if you skip the frothing, that is ok. (Sometimes I cheat and just use a liquid coffee creamer!). Don’t boil the milk, and if you use a non-dairy alternative, go with that.

I originally had an Earl Grey Latte at a coffee shop, and I love making it at home, especially on a cold winter day. What a great combination of flavors and a delicious treat.
