I have been hearing great things about the FabFitFun subscription box for a while now, so I was curious to check it out myself. I am a busy mom and I don’t have time for leisurely shopping, and it’s nice to get a subscription box that is geared towards me.

The box isn’t just the same box for everyone. During the ordering process, I answered some questions on the Fab Fit Fun website so that my box would be more personalized towards my personal preferences.

I ordered my box on December 13, and it arrived via FedEx on December 26.

I had a coupon code, so when I signed up, the box was $29.99. The normal price is $49.99, and contains well over that value in products.

The Mark & Graham Colorblock Throw arrived at the perfect time. Winters here are cold and dreary here, and it’s nice to have a throw I can grab when I am chilly. It’s a beautiful throw and I am claiming this one for myself, since the kids and cats have been stealing all the throws around the house.

Probably the most useful item in my box is the Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo, which retails for $44. If you’re a busy mom like myself, dry shampoo is a great hair styling staple to keep stocked!

“It’s so easy to achieve lust-worthy locks. Use this sulfate-free dry shampoo to absorb product buildup, oil, and impurities while soothing the scalp and restoring strength and softness.”

I have to say that I probably would never spend this much on a dry shampoo, so it is kind of fun to try something out of my price range (lol). I’m going to say it isn’t my favorite dry shampoo, but it still works and is nice to try something that I normally would not.

The PUR Cosmetics palette was also nice treat. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, and when I do, I prefer natural colors, so my Fab Fit Fun box hit the nail on the head with this one. The colors are cool and earthy, but with some sparkle to them too.

Makeup shopping can be such a challenge for me, because I don’t wear a lot as far as colors and usually stick to a basic foundation, mascara, and eye shadow. So I am shocked that FabFitFun made another perfect match with this Bite Beauty lipstick. The color (“meringue”) is perfect, between my skin tone and my personality. It is a nice quality and I love the scent.

It’s nice to have some non-beauty items in the box, like these essential oils. I like the two scents in my set, including eucalyptus and then sweet orange. I appreciate having the two different scents, with one being warmer (the sweet orange), which contrasts with the refreshing eucalyptus. We try not to use any synthetic fragrances in our household, and essential oils are a great way to have a healthier, more eco-friendly home.

The Bearpaw set of gloves and headband also came at a perfect time. I actually just got a new winter jacket and I love this cozy set. The black color is so versatile and matches my jacket and goes with plenty of other outfits.

I still have yet to try the Blaaq, eye brightener, and cream mask, and am looking forward to trying these products that are new to me, in the New Year. It’s nice to be able to take a survey so that the box can be customized. For example, I don’t have pierced ears, so while I don’t mind a cute piece of jewelry, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy earrings.

I am so happy with my FabFitFun box! I have tried a bunch of different subscription boxes and it can be tough to find something that fits my interests. I have enjoyed everything in my box so far, and I’m glad that not only do I like everything, but all of the products are ones that I have not tried before, so it has all been a treat!
