I received this product in exchange for my honest review as a Chewy Influencer.

My kids love treating their guinea pigs, so for Christmas they gave the piggies some new treats to try. The Kaytee Baked Apple Timothy Biscuit Treats from Chewy.com were much appreciated by the piggies!

We ordered these treats from Chewy.com, and our 4 oz bag costs less than $2, which is a great deal. We go through a lot of pet food and treats, and these are very reasonably priced.

“Give your pet the benefits of high-fiber timothy hay in a baked, easy-to-feed biscuit with Kaytee Baked Apple Timothy Biscuit Small Animal Treats. Small pets including Guinea Pigs, rabbits and chinchillas need hay to aid in the digestion process, keep their teeth trim and satisfy their need to chew. In fact, hay should make up 75 percent of their daily diet. Kaytee Baked Apple Timothy Biscuit Small Animal Treats are crunchy sun-cured timothy hay treats baked with delicious apples and other ingredients like what, flaxseed, alfalfa meal and dried cane molasses. They provide a more challenging chew than regular bale hay and make a great supplement to your small pet’s regular hay supply. Offer one biscuit a few times a day by hand or to your pet’s food bowl.” (Chewy.com)

The guinea pigs were interested in these right away. It seems like they’ll either yank a treat out of your hand or not, and they always are quick to go for these! It is nice to have treats that have ingredients like apples and timothy hay, and aren’t brightly colored with artificial colors. Plus the treats are crunchy, which is great for guinea pigs since they like to chew on things and also need things to keep their teeth from growing too long.

These have been great treats for both of our guinea pigs, and I love the convenience of ordering from Chewy.com. They have pet food and supplies for so many different pets, and as a busy parent, it is nice to have these products delivered so quickly right to our doorstep.
