It’s that time of year I start thinking about summer.  Our winter swim team season has wrapped up, the weather is warming up, and I am in the mindset of going to the pool.  There’s just one thing: of all the hours I have logged at the pool taking the kids to swim and dive practices and meets, plus recreational time – somehow I don’t have my own suit that I am happy with!

I am familiar with the Speedo brand, so it was only natural that I started my own shopping at SpeedoUSA.com.  While my shopping is usually pretty straightforward when it comes to the kids, it is difficult for me to shop for swimwear.  When it comes to Speedo USA Women’s Swimwear, there are so many choices, which made for a tough time figuring out what to order!  They have all kinds of suits – fitness, competition, tankinis, practice, plus size, even rash guards.

And although I can’t say I was looking for a 2-piece swimsuit, the Speedo Geo Playtime Printed 2-Piece caught my attention.

  • Constructed of sleek ProLT fabric, offering outstanding comfort, support and value.
  • The perfect choice for all swimmers looking for a more coverage in their training suit.
  • Soft, subtle finish moves nicely with the body.
  • Thin straps for maximum freedom of movement and minimal tan lines.
  • Non-slip draw string at waist.
  • Fabric: 85% Polyester/15% Spandex.

I ordered my suit at SpeedoUSA.com, using the Speedo sizing chart on their website.  The ordering process was very easy, with an order confirmation, shipping confirmation, and tracking information.

I was drawn to both the design and cut of the suit, which is very attractive but still allows you to train in the suit and have freedom of movement.  The sizing chart worked great, because the suit fits perfectly.

I can’t tell you how many times I have bought an article of clothing only to later realize it didn’t feel right on me.  When it comes to swimwear, the last thing I want to have to deal with is having to adjust it or feel like I am not covered.

The Geo Playtime 2-piece feels very comfortable, and is both soft and stretchy – but most importantly, I feel like the suit covers well and stays in place.  I love having range of movement and not having to worry about the suit shifting out of place.  There is also a drawstring in the bottoms, so you can adjust the suit and make sure it doesn’t slip.  If you’ve ever held a baby or toddler while wearing a 2-piece, you know how essential it is to have that feature!

I love having a suit that I am looking forward to wear at the pool and the beach!

And since I always find myself shopping at Speedo for the kids, I have a feeling I am going to head back and order another suit for myself!  I was originally tempted to get a suit that matches my daughter’s practice suit, and I think it would be a cute idea.  Plus our family has fair skin, and I we need to get some rash guards to make sure we are safe in the sun this summer.
