We are a household of animal lovers, and my kids are definitely animal obsessed! They beg often for pets (especially a dog!), and we are known for having a little menagerie at our house, including a cat, turtle, rat, newt, fish, and hermit crabs.

Recently we went to our first doggy park play date with a relative who owns an adorable dog.  The kids had so much fun playing with all the dogs and couldn’t have been happier to hang out with the play date for small dogs – even the adults told us that the kids made it more fun!  It was pretty cute how this group of small dog owners gets together – and sure enough my kids started to think about planning their own pet party.

There are so many animal theme invites to choose from at Evite, whether you are having a doggy meetup at the dog park, or having an pet themed birthday party.

When my daughter was younger, she had a dog theme birthday party, down to dog-bone shaped treats and cute cupcakes.  We are planning another one for my other daughter, with lots of cute ideas (not to mention I still have all the dog-bone treat molds!).

How cute are these invites?  I could see us doing a birthday party for our cat, like the kids have been begging me to do, but I think we will stick with people birthdays for now!  The great thing is that it takes minutes to put together an invite by plugging in your information.  Then you can manage your guest list online, which is my favorite part.  I can see who is coming, who hasn’t replied with their RSVP (and even send out reminders).  I am so busy all the time, these tools are perfect and much appreciated (thank you, Evite!).

Evite also has pet themed invites for things like pool parties, like this pool party invite, which is downright adorable!
