My kids have been having a lot of time making things out of duck tape lately.  However, some of the projects can get a little bit difficult, when it comes to making more complex things like bags or wallets.  This hair bow craft is very easy and only takes a few minutes to complete, and you get a cute hair bow out of it! This can be easily customized to match outfits or coordinate with themes.

Easy Duct Tape Hair Bows

Start by choosing your colors.  There are so many great colors and patterns out there of Duck Tape!

You can make one solid color hair bow, or combine colors (the bow and the center).

You can make some really cute combinations; for example, we did a bow inspired by “The Little Mermaid”, using purple and turquoise.  You can come up with colors for holidays, special occasions, school events, etc.

Take your duct tape and fold a 10″ piece in half to make a section about 5″ long — or you can take two 5″ lengths — and stick them together.

Trim the ends if needed.

Fold this piece in half (lengthwise), and continue to fold like an accordian.

Use a piece of duct tape and wrap the middle of the bow to secure the center place. You can easily add in a clip or hair tie.

Now you have a cute bow!
