Our family stays busy and active, and between school and traveling, we always have lunchboxes on hand. When I saw the Hango lunchboxes, I knew this would be perfect for my girls!
I chose the pink color, and these lunchboxes arrived in a nice fabric drawstring bag. (There is also a set of black Hango Luncboxes to choose from). The only downside to this product is that it had a plastic kind of smell to it when it arrived, but I was able to let it air out.
The set has two sizes: the large measures 6″L x 6″H x 10″W, and the small measures 5″L x 5″H x 7.5″W. The two sizes make it easy to pack lunches and snacks, since I have different sizes to choose from. Sometimes my daughter uses one for snack and one for lunch when she goes to school. The large lunchbox fits quite a bit, while the smaller one is more compact and perfect for when you don’t want something that is too large. My kids bring their lunches to school and bringing lunch and snack can take up a lot of room in the backpack, but these are a reasonable size.
The Hango Lunchboxes are well-constructed. The outside is a very pretty pink high-density polyester, and the inside has thermal insulation. My kids usually bring some kind of food to school that needs to be kept cold, whether it is yogurt, cheese, etc., so I put a small cold pack in the lunchbox and it keeps it cool.
The bags have stainless steel zippers, and I love that there are two zipper pulls. This way it is easy to open and close the zipper without having to struggle with just one zipper and going all the way around with one zipper (especially for kids). We have had a lot of cheap lunchboxes (like the free ones you get when you purchase a backpack) which inevitably bite the dust with zipper issues and falling apart – so we appreciate a good quality lunchbox like Hango!
