Protecting my skin from the sun is really important to me.  Ever since my kids were little, we all wear rash guards.  No need to go through the hassle of sunscreen.  No worrying if you are putting chemicals on your skin.  No worries about wondering if you sunscreen has sweated or washed off and trying to figured out when you need to reapply – and getting your hands all greasy.  And rash guards have great coverage so that you really are covered, from the back of your neck to your shoulders to your back.

Goddess Rash Guards can be used as both compression shirts and rash guards.  You can wear them from working out in the gym to when you are outdoors trying to avoid a sunburn.

Compression Shirt

I have had issues with rash guards fitting me in the past, but that was not the case with the Goddess Rash Guard.  I usually wear a medium shirt, so I ordered this rash guard in medium.  This shirt fits me well – the arms are long enough, and it reaches my waist.  In the past I had ordered a different brand in medium and ended up going up to an XL to get it to fit!  So for the Goddess Rash Guard, I would say this is true to size (I am about 5’7″).

Compression Shirt

The fabric is lightweight, but it is good quality.  I have had very thin rash guards, and this is a nice thick material.  The shirt is still stretchy and comfortable, but I imagine it will last for a while.  Keep in mind that it is supposed to be very form-fitting.

Goddess Rash Guard

I chose the black rash guard, but there are a variety of colors to choose from, including white and turquoise.  I love that these are available in a solid color, and without having a big logo or design on them.  What I do in the summertime is throw my rash guard over my swim top, and it is nice not having print or design on the shirt – I know the black shirt will go with whatever I wear as a bottom (whether it is a swimsuit or running tights).

These rash guards are rated UPF 50+!  So you know you are protected in the sun, and I love that!

Goddess Rash Guard

Although I don’t have the chance to wear this to the beach for a while, since we have a long winter ahead of us, I have used it for exercise.  Since it is quick-drying, it makes it great for working out.  You don’t have loose material in the way, and in cooler weather it keeps you just warm enough outdoors without wearing anything bulky.

Goddess Rash Guard

And lastly, these are made in the USA, so you know you are supporting a product made here!

I’ve been getting some rashes when I run in my regular gym clothes. I guess it is time to invest in something designed to do the job. Wonder if they have a men’s line?
