100 Wacky Things Card Game

This product was provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

I have been loving playing games lately with my girls.  Now that colder weather is here and it gets dark early, we find ourselves indoors a lot, and the kids get bored.  I am always looking for alternatives to watching television or using electronics.

100 Wacky Things Card Game

100 Wacky Things is a fun card game that will have you doing some pretty silly stuff!

In 100 Wacky Things, players will do some ridiculous things while laughing uncontrollably at each other. The game has two types of cards: Always and Whenever. If you draw an Always Card, you will do the wacky thing on your card every time it’s your turn. A Whenever Card directs you to do what the card says whenever another player does something specific. For families with children ages 7 & up.

Setting up the game is extremely easy – you simply shuffle the deck, decide how many rounds you want to play, and you’re set to go.  To start, you see who can either touch their tongue to their nose, or who gets the closest!  After that, the players take turns following the instructions on their cards.  There are all kinds of wacky instructions, from walking like a crab to yelling like Tarzan.

My kids think this is a fun game, and they like seeing which cards the adults get.  I think they get a huge kick out of seeing their mom act pretty silly, and it is fun to let go a little bit and just be silly with the kids.

100 Wacky Things

I would say the age range on this card game is spot on.  The kids should be able to read the cards, plus it helps for them to know some of the references such as songs.  For example, a younger child might not know the tune to some of the songs on the cards, or references such as how a parrot might say “Polly want a cracker?”.  My older daughter is 7.5, and she had no problem reading the cards and playing along.  That being said, my youngest (who just turned 5), does enjoy playing along, even if another player has to read her a card.  We also let the kids change cards if they want (either because they don’t like it or don’t understand it).

100 Wacky Things

Give yourself some room to play this game, as the players will need some room to act out a lot of the antics, from spinning to crab-walking to acting like animals!

100 Wacky Things

The game stores neatly – the cards and instructions stack neatly right in the box.  A great way to make sure he cards don’t get lost, and it also makes it handy for taking this game with you when you travel.
