My girls and I love doing crafts together.  And when boredom hits, I love having craft projects on hand.  The kids were both super excited to see the My Image Bracelet Maker arrive, and the timing couldn’t be better – this has been the perfect after-school project.

Like other My Friendship Bracelet Maker products, the My Image Bracelet Maker comes with everything you need, plus the storage is built right in to the bracelet maker.

My Image Bracelet Maker

Making a bracelet is easy.  I made bracelets with both my almost 5-year-old and my 7 year old, and both of them really enjoyed making a variety of bracelets.

You start by figuring out what size bracelet you want to make, then lay the tiles down on the top of your bracelet maker.  Thread two elastic strands through the tiles.  I honestly thought there was no way the threads would go through easily, but I was wrong, and even my 4 year old was able to do this without a problem.

Next, select your images.  You can print your own, or use the ones provided.  My girls loved browsing through the images included, from kittens to puppies, to flowers and peace signs.  There was plenty to pick from, and when you are ready, place the sheet into the to of My Image Maker and cut your image with the built-in cutting device.

Next, glue your image to the bracelet, using the glue stick provided.  We liked the built-in glue stick slot in the top of the bracelet maker, which made it easy to keep track of the glue stick, between gluing and cutting.

Once you have your images in place, tie off the elastic bands.  The kit comes with a tool to thread/pull the knots into the holes in the tiles (so the knots are hidden).

My Image Bracelet Maker

I had a lot of fun working with my girls to make a bunch of bracelets for them (as well as friends).  My 7-year-old can easily do this on her own, although I helped with tying the knots.  The bracelets came out very cute, and the kid’s friends liked the bracelets too, so we ended up making a whole bunch for school friends.

This is a great kit for your child, and it is a fun activity to do with your kids or for them to do with siblings and friends.  We are looking forward to printing out some images of our own to use on bracelets!
