My girls are really into cute stuff – including stuffed animals and clothes – so they were super excited to find out there is a product that combines the two! The Hoodsbee is a hoodie that can be folded up into a little plush critter, and there is a whole line to choose from!
Hoodsbee is an innovative hoodie that transforms into a plush friend or a plush friend that transforms into a hoodie. With Hoodsbee, there are so many options. This unique patented technology allows your little one to carry their travel plush buddy, put it on when it is cold, fold it back up into a plush and use it as a head pillow for when they are tired. It’s as easy as 1,2,3! Fold, roll and snap! Now, not only do you have a pillow and a travel companion, but you also have a nicely wrapped up hoodie that is easy to store or travel with.
Hoodsbee hoodies are so cute, with a variety of animals to choose from. My daughter knew right away that she wanted the fox – or “Mimi the Fox”, but there are so many other creatures to choose from, such as a panda, monkey, owl and monster.
I often have to send my kids in to school in a sweater, since mornings are chilly especially in the fall. Hoodsbee is a great way for them to either bring a sweater to school, or to help them remember to bring their sweater home! Hoodsbee folds up into such a convenient size, and this is a great way to get my Kindergartener to remember to bring home her sweater.
The hoodie folds up very easily, and my daughter can do it on her own – she just turned 5 a few days ago and has no problem folding up Mimi the fox and snapping the snaps into place. Once it is rolled up in to a plush toy, she’s always hugging and snuggling with it, and this is perfect as a little pillow in the car.
The sweater itself isn’t just cute, it is also very comfy. That awesome plush furry material on the outside? It is the same on the inside, which makes it fun to wear, especially over a short-sleeved shirt.
My daughter absolutely loves her Hoodsbee! She takes every opportunity to wear her sweater, and the other day when we wore this to dance, she had everyone petting her sweater (parents and kids)!
I would say the sizes are true, to small. I got a size 5 for my daughter, who just turned 5 and is on the small side. She is about 42″ and weighs around 37 lbs, and the sweater is just right for now. You can read the measurements on the website to be sure you are getting the right size.
The only downside to this collection is that they only have sizes up to Girls 6x and Boys 7. My almost-8-year-old was a bit jealous of her little sister and I know she would love to have a Hoodsbee too.
