Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil (**GIVEAWAY**)

Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree oil

This product was provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

Tea tree oil, also known as melaleuca, is such a versatile product to have, and because it is natural, it is a great replacement for products that contain chemicals.  From ailments to using in household cleansers, tea tree oil has so many great properties.  Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil is 100% pure, with no fillers, additives, bases or carriers added.

This tea tree oil comes nicely packaged in a dark brown, glass bottle with a top that has a built-in dispenser.  I love the packaging, which has a vintage-style label and lots of great information right on the bottle.

Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil also comes with a free e-book full of uses for tea tree oil.  If you haven’t used tea tree oil before, you may be surprised just how many uses it has.  Tea tree oil has been used for many years, from the Aboriginal people of Australia, to military uses in World War II.

You can use tea tree oil full-strength – for example I use it on a cotton swab and dab it on skin ailments.

Or you can dilute it, such as added to water for a foot soak, either to treat something like athlete’s foot or simply to soothe and refresh tired feet.

Try adding a few drops to a bath full of warm water to soothe respiratory ailments.

You can also mix with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil, before applying to skin.

I also use this in my natural cleaners.  As a disinfectant and anti-fungal, it is a great additional to your household cleaning products.  You can easily add some to a spray bottle with water, and you have an effective cleaning spray that helps to disinfect.  It makes a great room deodorizer.  Add a few drops to a spray bottle full of water and you get a terrific scent without all the chemicals!

Some of the benefits of the oil from Apothecary Extracts:

Tea Tree Essential Oil is best known as a very powerful immune stimulant. It can help to fight all three categories of infectious organisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses), and there is evidence that Tea Tree Oil massages prior to an operation may help to fortify the body and reduce post-operative shock. Used in vapor therapy, Tea Tree Oil can help with colds, measles, sinusitis and viral infections. For skin and hair, Tea Tree has been used to combat acne, oily skin, head lice, dandruff, toenail fungus, yeast infections, skin tags, cold sores, dandruff, and ringworm.

If you are looking to use more natural products, tea tree oil is a great staple for the medicine cabinet and even with your cleaning supplies.
