Cucumber Dill Salad

Cucumber Dill Salad

This cucumber dill salad is a healthy, refreshing side that is easy to make.  This is a nice side dish in the summer when I want something cool, and it is a low-calorie option.  I like this salad on the salty side, without much sugar at all, which makes it reminiscent of pickles.

4 cucumbers

1/2 cup vinegar

1 tablespoon dill (fresh or dry)

1 teaspoon sugar

Salt to taste

 Cucumber Salad

Combine vinegar, salt and sugar.

Slice cucumbers and pour the mixture over the cucumbers.  I sprinkle dill on as I mix, until desired amount.

Cover and refrigerate.  Allow to sit to absorb flavors.

Mix again, and serve.

I do enjoy cucumbers and buy them often. I never made a salad like this before and it would be nice to try.
