I have struggled with buying good children’s shoes for years.  Whether it is the quality, fit, or lifespan of the shoe, among other things, these are all issues that make it a challenge.  Recently I had the chance to try a sample of a new Kidofit brand of children’s shoes, which offer so many great features.

One of the most interesting features of this shoe is that it has a clear view of your child’s toes!  This way you can simply peek at the bottom of the shoe and see if they are outgrowing their shoes and how well the shoe fits their foot.

Kidofit Shoes

The KidOFit Barefoot Soles (TM) are very flexible and mimic barefoot walking, which promotes healthy foot and posture development.  Not only is the sole of the shoe very comfortable, the rest of the shoe is also very soft and comfy.  The shape of the shoe is also anatomically designed, allowing extra room in the toe area, and enhancing stability.  I simply love that it offers a comfortable, natural shape, instead of confining toes.  My older daughter has a wide foot and we are always aware of how narrow shoes often are (and how it is difficult to find shoes that fit her).

Kidofit Fleur

Another favorite feature of the Kidofit shoe is the adjustable fit.  We go through shoes so quickly as our children grow up, and this is such a nice feature to have.  I can tighten or loosen the strap on the back of the shoe to make sure that it fits just right, and there are also inserts you can use to make the shoe a little tighter or looser.  I love that these shoes have more longevity than most, because we certainly have bought a lot of shoes for my girls.  There are years where we buy new school shoes, and by December, the kids have outgrown them.  It is nice when a company actually makes a shoe that is designed to last longer, and have you buying shoes less often!

We chose the Toddler Girl’s “Fleur” pink Mary Jane shoe for my 4 year old.  She picked them out herself, and was excited when they arrived in this cute package.  I think these shoes are absolutely adorable, from the color combinations to the metallic flowers.

KidoFit Shoes

My daughter was excited to wear her shoes, and she took to them right away.  She thinks they are cute, but they are very comfortable for her as well, even wearing them barefoot.

Kidofit Shoes

I am very satisfied with our Kidofit shoes, and I love all the great features.  Although my 4 year old doesn’t know about all the benefits, such as the barefoot shoe concept, these are her favorite shoes.  Watch our review of their great features in action here:

I haven’t heard of this brand before. When my boys were young noone ever mentioned the benefits of the feel of walking barefoot. Those boots are very cute!

So happy they are making shoes like this for kids. My son is flat footed so we have trouble with off the shelf shoes.

These shoes are adorable and I’m completely SOLD on the clear bottoms to check on their little toes. These are perfect for my soon-to-be 2 year old niece. She is going to be adorable in the pink ones.

Super cute and functional. My kids are too old, but I am sharing with my sister-in-law. These will be great for her kids.

What a smart design! My niece turned 1 on sunday and it’s so hard to tell if her shoes fit because she bunches her toes up when we try to put her shoes on so they often feel too tight but it’s so hard to really know.

  13. 13

That is super cute. I love that you can see through the bottom.

  14. 14

Interesting concepts. I wonder how large they come, they look to be for toddlers only?

These shoes are genius. I always struggle with trying to figure out if shoes fit my boys properly. These would be perfect!

These are SO cute! I love the fact you can tell when they are about to outgrow them, genius. I need to look for these the next time my son needs a new pair of shoes. I have such a hard time being able to tell if he has outgrown them. He curls his toes when I check bc he doesnt want to get rid of the ones he has, its so frustrating.

These look great! With three kids I”m always on the lookout for shoes that look good and are functional. Thanks for sharing!

I know the frustrations of shoe shopping for someone with wide feet because I am THAT person. My poor mom always had to get them from one store in particular because no one else carried ones wide enough for me back in the day. lol
Now, my daughter has fat feet, so I’m always on the lookout for shoes that look like they would fit!

I just love that it has a see through sole with guide!
