Lucky & Me ~ Redefining Children’s Underwear

This product was provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

Have you ever rummaged through your child’s dresser drawers searching for a clean, soft pair of undies – only find starchy, scratchy undies instead?  Fashionista and mom, Rochelle, designer and creator of Lucky & Me, had the same unfortunate experience.  So she decided to take a stand and create her own line.  Scouring everywhere she could, she found the softest of materials, fabrics and accessories to develop a line of trendy, cute and comfortable underwear for young boys and girls.

The Lucky & Me line features fresh, playful designs, with charming details like lace trims and bows, and tagless backs.  Available in sizes 2T through 5T for girls and boys, the entire line can easily be mixed and matched to your child’s liking. It’s a stylish collection of underwear and leggings that works for all events–from tea parties to jungle gyms– and it’s one that kids will be comfy forever!

In the Lucky & Me quest for ultimate comfort and softness, they made a commitment to use only quality designs and materials that are also cutting-edge. After searching all around for the best fabrics and materials to produce their garments, they selected a blend of modal and cotton to produce these incredibly soft undergarments for our children.

While many of us grew up with the belief that 100% cotton undergarments are the best around, this concept is far from up-to-date, as  fabric has changed and made valiant leaps in modern day. Modal yarn, for example, originates from sustainable beechwood tree farms, is eco-friendly and the fibers are derived from beechwood cellulose. This natural fiber is ideal for absorbencybreatheabilityresistance to shrinkage, and durability.

Large elastic bands on the bottoms of the children’s underwear ensure a secure fit. The combination of modal, cotton, spandex and their selective trims guarantee the pieces won’t fall off, sag, or lose their shape, that many of the more common and mass-produced do. Instead, they’re made to be play-proof……enduring the activity level and drama that toddlers and young children subject their clothing to.

When do you let your little boy take the next step to becoming a young man and graduate from superhero underpants to big boy boxers?  With Lucky & Me, the transition is a bit easier.

With Lucky & Me briefs and boxers, boys can graduate from superhero underwear to briefs and boxers that are similar to what their older brothers and fathers wear – yet still colorful and fun. Also made of modal fabric, the Lucas Brief has a clean, classic shape which is accentuated by the Lucky & Me elastic. Many boys think that boxers are even more grown up than briefs, so they will really be happy with the Ethan Boxer, which has contrast stitching for added style. Both the briefs and boxers are made without a front opening for comfort and ease.

My 2 year old, Amelia, is moving into a stage in her life where potty training is beginning and she wants to wear underwear like her big brother Noah.  Although this scares me to death, it was fun to see the both of them running around in their new Lucky & Me comfy underwear.  Super cute and trendy, these underwear are made of a high end fabric that will not wear easily, but moves with the endless motion of a 2 and 3 year old!

My 4 year old, Noah, received the Lucas’ boys brief.  Look how amazingly cute he is!  Noah was so excited to try on his new big boy underwear, that he refused to wear his clothes on top of them.  Running in huge “super circles” around the house and then karate kicking his way to me and the camera, he is proof that these underwear are made to fit a child’s body and endure the worst.  The only thing that Noah was upset about, was that there was no hole in the front to use to go to the bathroom.  I tried to explain design to him, but falls upon deaf ears to a 3 year old.

Amelia received the most darling Mia tank and hipster set! AH!  I just wish (and hope) that maybe a training line would come out for the little ones!  Same as Noah’s, the material is of the highest quality, super duper soft and classic cute, rather than aging my daughter 10 years and being inappropriate.  We actually were so excited about this outfit that she didn’t have an accident for quite a while….and then I think she just forgot…..

I love the fact that the Lucky & Me brand sizes down to 2T as well.  It is so difficult, at this age, to find cute little undergarments! I also noticed, too, that they have recently expanded their lines to the opposite and have begun to create larger sizes – marvelous!

Another amazing quality of the entire Lucky & Me line is the tagless feature.  My children are notorious for not wearing clothing if a tag is attached.  This way, I don’t have to cut the tag out and can actually keep the size and washing instructions intact on these undergarments. Priceless!

These are great and affordable pieces and are just so cute, classic and darling!!!  With Christmas fast approaching, couldn’t you see these in a stocking or under the tree?

Those are cute designs and the fabric looks so soft and comfortable. All my grandson will wear are boxer briefs and loves the way they fit.

  2. 2

Those are such adorable underwear for little ones! my daughter will HOPEFULLY be potty training soon, and I’d love to get her some of these when she is done.

  3. 3

Oh my gosh! They are adorable! I love that they are eco-friendly too!

  4. 4

Those are really cute colors and I bet the modal is so soft. Hilarious that Noah was upset over the lack of the “hole”. I have four boys and they would probably notice that, too. Even though I never really understood the underwear holes – mine never used them.

  5. 5

Those are some of the cutest underwear for kids I have seen in awhile. I like these so much more than the trendy kiddie undies. :)

  6. 6

Those look so cute and comfortable! Thanks for sharing. My kids are really picky about underwear. I’ll see what they think.

  7. 7

Those are so super cute! Do they happen to make stuff for adults, because I would totally wear that yellow polka dot set or those striped pants!

  8. 8

Cute underwear! I have noticed some brands are stiffer then others, I now stick with the brands that I know. If they made larger sizes we’d consider checking them out.

  9. 9

These are cute. Willow is in need of some new bottoms so this is worth looking into.

Lucky & Me has added new products with larger sizes (upto 9/10). Check out the new Logan Classic Tee ( – probably the softest undershirt for boys.
