Salba Smart Chia is a part of my daily routine.  I usually start my day out with chia seeds, which are packed with so many benefits.  And I incorporate chia seeds into so many things.  So why not share those benefits with the whole family?

    I try to cook a lot of healthy muffins and cakes, containing zucchini, carrots, avocados and so on :)

    The have tiny shopping carts at Whole Foods so we make a fun shopping trip and load up in the fruits and vegetable dept. Because it is what they picked, they eat it.

    I’ve been cooking with less meat and only using organic vegetables and ingredients.

    Hardest thing I did was to stop drinking soda. I am allergic to tannin, so can’t drink most teas, coffee, wine… So I lived on diet coke. But I gave it all up, and don’t even drink the diet waters. No fake sugars as much as possible. Stopped eating fast food almost entirely – every so often I have a Frosty. :)

    I have been trying to make small changes like switching to non-dairy milk and having a cup of tea in the morning instead of coffee. I’ve also been pre-making large batches of steel cut oats to have in the morning, so I’m not tempted to pick up a pastry on the way to work or to eat sugary cereal at home!
