Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers (**$25 GC GIVEAWAY**)

That moment has finally come.  The dream has come true. You have had a baby, and late night feedings and changing diapers every 20 minutes are now the dreams realized from your childhood.  Well…sort of.  Unfortunately, though, diapers are great until your baby starts to wiggle and move. Then the changing table (or floor) becomes the wrestling ring to pin your child down in order to secure the diaper before the are out and off ~ running stark naked and unprotected around your home!

Scared to shift over to Pull Ups, because your little one is not quite ready? Huggies has now developed a hybrid between diapers and Pull Ups for those in-betweeners that can stand and run away from you, but aren’t quite ready to start potty training!  Introducing Huggies Little Movers Slip-On diapers ~ the diaper that allows the child to step in and out with ease, but also gives you the ability to lay them down and change them with a dirtier accident!

Huggies Slip On

Amelia has been asking to go potty since she was 16 months old, but mostly because she saw her older brother doing it.  We were a long way from potty training, and in a sense, still are at 23 months.  She is a mover and shaker, so the transition from diaper to Pull Up was a necessary progression.  Although we have tackled #2 about 90% of the time, she still refuses to sit on her potty unless she is running around in her birthday suit.  So the dilemma is how to handle this.

We recently had the great opportunity to visit our local Target and purchase Huggies Little Movers Slip-On diapers using a great $2.00 off Target coupon!

Amelia had a great time opening her new diapers and was thrilled to see Tigger featured on the front. Immediately tearing off her current protection, she asked for help to put on her new Huggies Little Movers Slip-On diaper.

It was extremely easy to pull up, and she ran around the house in her Slip-On diaper until we had to leave for dinner.  In that time, we had no issues with leaking or in sagging.  Before we left for dinner, I went to check her diaper for a change, thinking that she actually hadn’t because there was no indication (sagging, etc), when in fact she had.  The diaper effectively pulled her urine away from her bottom and into the diaper, so much, that I couldn’t tell that she had had an accident.  Having used Pull Ups and other competitor diapers in the past, I must say that one thing I wish these diapers had was a mark that disappeared when she had urinated in her diaper.  With these, you simply have to keep checking.

Another great attribute of the diapers are the stretch sides that also feature a Velcro closure.  As Amelia ran around and played with her nearly 4 year old brother, she was able to keep up without tugging at any loose or ill-fitting diapers, nor did I have to worry about leaking while she played.  Huggies provides a trusted leak protection that gave me the assurance that I should have no worries in the functionality of the diaper while Amelia wrestles on the floor!  The elasticity around the legs and the stretchy sides gives my Little Mover enough give to play without fear of an accident.  The reusable closure sides allow easy take off if #2 occurs and you need to do a standard change, rather than a typical potty training Pull Up, which becomes more difficult for these type of clean ups.

Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers are just the key to the transitional stage between diapers and Pull Ups.  Empower your toddler!  Make them feel like they are becoming a big kid, even if you want to keep the baby inside 😀

I really enjoyed our experience with the Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers, although I wish that they would have some sort of “accident indicator” on the front to help alert mom and dad of a need to diaper change.  Other than that, they truly did fit Amelia very snugly and protected her from wetness and leaking with the stretchy sides and elastic conformity to her little legs.  Although we are nearly potty trained on #2, the Slip-On diapers were definitely more efficient for changes than its Pull Up counterparts.  The easy off Velcro sides allowed me to easily lay her down and change her, rather than having to catch the accident as we carefully slid down Pull Ups.  It is also easier than diapers, since our babies are truly Little Movers…and wiggle worms.

Go out and buy your Huggies Little Movers Slip On diapers today at your local Target store to take advantage of the $2 off any package coupon!
